Yeah not much use in the last 6 months (winter), but definitely still works. Last major use was Easter. Had it on for 4.5 days straight on a 100AH deep cycle battery without any charging and was still working fine. Cold nights and mild weather, but still good going I think.

I thought I recorded how much power it used and battery level at the end of Easter, but can't find it now.... Anyway, still no regrets with the fridge.

Oh yeah, weekend after Easter I went on a boys 4wd'ing trip as well. I don't have the fridge tied down properly, so it got thrown about a lot on that trip. Just once I forgot to lock the lid down and it swung up and hit the roof going over a bump. I latched the lid and slowed down after that. I swear.

    Fridge still works.

Is your plastic cased, looking at both styles and some look good and others look really cheap.

My ebay 55l is now 5 years old and still running really well - works a treat - better than a Waeco or Engal.

The 25l Evakool RV that I also have works OK - does draw a bit of power and the insulation is not real good but I mainly use it for day trips where I don't need to take much - is a bit noisy if in a sleeping compartment.

The Ebay fridge is a much better fridge.

There seems to be a lot of these hiding under different brand names.
    I have a Giant Power 60 litre.
Looks the same as Judo's but with digital temp control. Works fine, very happy with it.

Yes, been scouring ebay and there seems to be so many that are almost indentical, i havent noticed any with twin separate compartments like Justin's though.

Maybe time to update this thread?

Went away a few weeks ago and when we arrived SWMBO noticed the freezer wasn't frozen. I had a look and the side of the fridge was scolding hot. Turns out I'm a noob and I had completely blocked one of the air vents on the side. There is vents on 3 sides, not 2 sides it seems! The fridge overheated and the motor cutout leaving only the fans running. Once I realised my error, I moved the fridge, left it off for 5 mins, then back on and good as new for the rest of the trip. I admit we have been on a few trips with the fridge mounted that way, so it has probably been running super hot a number of times.... But in the end, still works fine. Only 1 thing has stopped working, the digital led display for freezer temp has stopped working. Fridge temp display still works. We just leave the dials in the same spot anyway, so not a big deal after owning it for so long.

Other than above, flawless fridge still.

    Garrycol, is yours still going?

As just posted on the other thread on fridges "My 55 litre ebay fridgy is still running very well - over 7 years later - I would never buy a overpriced brand name. Oh I did buy a 25litre Everkool (aluminium body) for weekend use and it is crap - hi power use - poor temp control, noisey and cost the same as the ebay jobby."

So both fridges are still working - the ebay fridge is better than the Everkool but to be fair the Everkool is not actually made by Everkool like the big Everkools - not a good long trip fridge but Ok for what I bought it for - short day and weekend trips.
