    94 Classic LSE seat computer

    Hi all Seat and mirrors ECU decided to stop working I see on other posts it is common for the age of the Rangie. Took the ECU to the local electronics guy and found the battery has leaked over the circut board.

    A new battery fitted and clean up the board and now the mirrors are working and not the seat. Some times the seat button will move the mirrors as well. He is going to have another go at it so here is hoping.

    So I guess if all fails a new one which is about $1200 im told 2nd hand could be just as bad and im open to suggestions.

    Try calling triumph rover spares in sa.
    They have lots of stock and if not may know where there is one and or have an alternate solution

    You can get rid of the computer altogether.I got a passenger side seat wiring loom from TRS.By swapping the wires around in the plug sockets you can make the seat operate manually Haven'T looked at the mirrors yet as I Have late Disco 1 fitted [They are a little bigger] Total cost for the seat $35.00

    RonK do you have part number for the ECU module? I may have one lying about. IF I do I can't guarantee it but I can send it to you on spec. PM me.
