    84 RRC for me

Finally found a Classic Rangie. It has had a heart transplant, a reco radiator and a new clutch less than 20K's ago. Quite a few of the suspension bushes, etc. have been replaced in the last year or so, but the A frame rear pivot make a little bit of noise. 5 alloy wheels and (4) good tyres, extractors and a twin system (nice burble ) again in the last couple of years. A couple of small oil leaks, a sticky handbrake, a minor highbeam issue and a dam good clean are all that should be required for RWC.

A pic from evilbay with more to follow

    Nice find!

Im far more trusting in the simplicity of the earlier 4 door classics and you found a ripper by the looks of her.

    Good job!

I am and nope, wasnt mine.

I used to use Carl from Gippsland mobile Mechanics until he got banged up in a bingle.

Haven't had the pleasure of the KG experience yet, the trick is though if he is ok with Rangies, I found most Mechs hate em.

    Hey Pop,

Glad you got one. Very similar to the one I just beat you on, that is now the Donasouros elsewhere.

Looks good, looking forward to more pics, enjoy

A couple more pics of my 84. Have shifted the driving lights down into the bar and removed the 2 miles of bump strips that were on the car. I still need to clean the remnants of the double sided tape and glue that held the strips on. Any ideas are welcome !. After that, a good cut and polish.

    A hint to it's heritage
