Played with the adjustment this morning and i can get it to unstick but if i apply it again, i go nowhere.
Seems as though a return spring has gone.
But if anyone happens to know of a good second hand one somewhere in vic.......
So i was going to open the drum today. got the tail shaft off and came to the 2 big retainting screws. After discovering they are pretty well stripped i tried making one into a flat head. This would've worked if they weren't so tight i think i'd break my wrist before getting the bastards out.
any ideas?
thanks.
I bought an impact screwdriver for exactly that reason.
Yeah that's definately what i'm gonna be buying next pay day
No a 48-215 would be AF, but you need a Whitworth right handed one.

You Should be able to pick one up at the wreckers for next to nothing though.
