Thread: brake pressure reducing valve leaking

Gday all my brake pressure reducing valve on my 84 rangie with out abs is weeping. are these units repairable or through away?

If the reducing valve is just below the master cylinder as in my 92, just be careful that the leak is not from the grommets between the master cylinder reservoir and the master cylinder and then running down the brake line onto the pressure reducing valve.

This was the case with mine and it drove me crazy for a while. This is the most common source of leaks in that area.
