Auto kickdown cable and Boge shocks

Fixing the aircon recently I must have leaned too heavily on the auto's kickdown cable as the accelerator pedal is very stiff and it revs out to about 3500 before changing gears and harshly at that.
When I looked into it and gave the cable a bit of a pull the white plastic liner came out with the wire and will only go back in when pushed by hand...

So...where's the best place to buy one from and anyone got any tips on making the job a little easier?
Also looking for a place to get a set of original boge front shocks for the 93. Seem to be cheap as in the UK, anyone seen them reasonably priced in Aus?

    Thanks,
    Richard.

    Hi Richard,

Land Rover parts - BOGE SHOCK ABSORBERS - RANGE ROVER CLASSIC

I'm not sure if these are what you call cheap but anyways

Let me know if they fit because I want to put these on my 93 vogue se too as I've done the coil conversion.

    Cheers
