    Will MY86 doors fit a MY90?

    Hi guys,
    Will the doors of an MY86 fit a MY90? as a direct swap?
    Obviously I know the hinges are external rather than internal (and the glass is thinner) so will the internal style hinge bolt and check strap from the 90 fit the 86 frame without hacking an' choppin' !!
    There's 3 different door assembly part numbers running over the FA to GA series - hard to tell the difference.

    Yup, there's let-ins on the front guards - can't remember whether small ones on the early door skins...and whether the hinge mounts are the same...

    I think the later hinges bolt on to the door pillar in a different plane but dont know if the old hinges will fit to the later door
