If you're talking about the booster I'm pretty sure they're rebuildable with a kit. Have a look at Paddocks for your year.

can anyone advise where to get a brake pump to suit a 94 classic soft dash or if they have a spare they will part with chris

I think they mean the little electric motor/pump that pumps up the pressure in the WABCO high-pressure system... the system that really should have the brake fluid changed every year to make it last... the thingy that should run for no more than (about) 45 seconds from overnight standing... the thingy that costs over $1,000, and thats not including the nitrogen-charged 'accumulator'
A match in the fuel tank is tempting....

your on the right money with the wabco system. it was the motor that failed and the brushes became part of the housing. the system runs at 1700 psi which explains why the old girl won't stop without it. im hoping to get one local for tomorrow. now for the transfer and diff noises. the old girls getting to be like eating an elephant (one bite at a time)
If the accumulator is still OK, what about a second hand pump from a wrecker?

Dunno if they ship overseas, but at $600 its a bit better than buying second hand at $400 - 500 or whatever.
If you're going to keep the White Elephant... (mine's a bluish-greenish one!) then you may as well do it properly.
Insurance and rego issues would mean you can't change it to the (more sensible) vacuum-servo system, with NO ABS or Traction Control to stuff up..

fitted anew secondhand pump yesterday and found the relay is fused shut (constant running pump) can any one advise if brush section of motor is available only or if motor as a whole as I now know that the relay is the reason for the failure and only the motor is at fault
Take it to a company that does small motor rewinds .... A google turned up this ....
Maitland Rewinds Pty Ltd Rutherford - Swimming Pool Repairs, Electric Motor and Generator Repairs - Contact Details & Profile - StartLocal®
and they should be able to get the armature, etc, back to new ....
brake pump changed, relay changed brakes building up pressure and pump stopping. now brake warning light is lit. have to wait for second person to assist in bleeding, if no good maybe a match followed by marshmellows?
