    Mech issue > flat spot at 2000rpm 3.9 V8

Quick question. I've got a flat spot at 2000rpm that feels like a misfire, bad fuel or air/fuel mix. It goes away above 2300rpm. I checked the leads and found the one to the dizzy was arcing. I replaced all leads and spark plugs.

the problem still exists. No problems with the alternator.

On occassions when depressing clutch or putting in neutral the revs get stuck at 1400 (idle is normally 800) and i wonder if this may mea an issue with the throttle positioning switch.

Has anyone any experience with something similar.

    thanks in advance. Tim

Clean your MAF and Throttle body with some Carbiclean, let it dry completely and then try.

It sounds to me to be similar to one of the issues that the Blue Rangie I was working on had.

    Cheers Casper
