    overhead console

Can someone who has a RR classic (4door) photo/measure the roof. I'm attempting to make an overhead console but recently had the roof lining replace so i don't want to pull it out of mine and the wreckers don't have any at the moment.

    cheers

I'll do better. Here's my overhead I made myself for the DVD screen.

I made the console out of mdf prior to getting the lining redone and had both covered at the same time.
The console fits separately to the lining. I have a couple of pieces of pine screwed into the roof rails. Access is through the screen recess hole and is held in place with a couple of screws thru the lining and into the pine. Keeps the lining nice and strong too and vibration free.

Making it was trial and error but knocked it over during the course of a Saturday and half a carton
