    dashboard warning light 89 3.5efi RRC

    Hi all .
    I have a dasboard warning light on . Its permanently glowing bright orange and has a diagram of what looks like a jerrycan with waves drawn across it . Is this for the squirters reservoir ? ive filled it but light is still on .

    Yes windscreen res the sensor is buggerd ..like mine disconnect the sensor plug or buy a new one

    I think that's the low coolant warning. The float goes soggy and sinks. Just keep an eye on the level in the expansion tank.

    No.... On my 89 the low coolant indicator has a fan in the middle of it and when its low the light will flash. The windscreen one just stays on permanant.
    I can fix those low coolant sensors with a resistor and a reed switch , I have done a few now

    sensor location

    I guess the sensor is plugged somewhere in the reservoir . I will look for it .
