    Range Rover Classic Driver Seat

    Hey All,

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction in regards to aftermarket / swap out ( disco seat in rr etc ) / origional ( wrecker / dismantler ) Driver Seat for a 1975 Range Rover Classic 2 Door

I got a bit carried away pulling the seat forward, and the plastic mount guide for the seat belt snapped in half or know where i could get a replecement guide/holder or complete seat

    cheers!

As I found out, early 4 doors have exactly the same seat including the flip forward mechanism as the 2 doors. The only difference being, is that the rod which attaches to the flip lever is shorter and does not protrude, thus not allowing you to use the flip function.

If you head off to a wrecker and purchase a seat from an early 4 door (up to '85 i think?), pull off the seat back and punch out the rod. Take your seat and do the same- swap the rods, attach the lever and bobs your aunty!

hi there ads0r, in regards to your front seat problem. i have a 1983 classic rangie 4 door my drivers seat base was completley stuffed the plastic guide you spaek of was broken of and belt used to get caught. i found a passenger seat of the same model as they are usually in better condition, and swapped it over to the drivers side just swap the seat belt brackets and remove pin so that you can tilt forward. i got the seat from pick and pull wreckers in blacktown for $100.hope this helps from leyland
