    vacuum advance units

Can anyone tell me what would be the point of purchasing a vacuum advance unit for the V8 (from ebay) when you can buy a complete brand new dizzy with the vac adv. unit on it for the same money?

I just discovered my vac unit is no good and I think I may as well get a whole new dizzy instead!

eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d (complete dizzy $165)

Distributor vacuum advance for Range Rover / Land Rover | eBay (vac unit $128)

Richard, this has been done a few times. Check the Search function for your options.

I'll make it easy for him ....

Richard ... Click on this ... Advance Diaphragm Options

Have your CC ready and just do it ....

Forget the Fleabay option, as I would expect their vacuum advance units will last 5 seconds .... and the module will last less

The dizzy itself might be OK tho ......

    Cheers

    Hi Pierre,

I have been using the search function constantly for the last few days off an on and have only posted here as a last resort as filtering out and narrowing down the options is so time consuming.
Add to that, that this site loggs me off when I leave the computer for more than a few minutes means a frustrating time

    Mike,

Thanks for trying to make it easier for me, the link itself didn't work but I searched the term you put in and I have just found their website now. Will have a look.
    Thanks again.

    Richard.

Put an enquiry on the website and within the hour they had rung me back, I parted with $75 for the unit and $6.50 for a pre addressed return post pack for the exchange unit and it's all happening!
Thanks for the heads up on www.advancediaphragmoptions.com
