Speak to Paul teague (director) of DLS uk Derbyshire Land Rover services
You'll find them on the net he will sort you out tell him Andy Brennan put you onto him.
Shame I just bought $800 worth of gear off them for the 130 Had I known you could have saved on shipping such is life I guess.
    Cheers Andy

the injectors from my 89 wreck have bosch part number 0280 150 105.

could try your luck getting your ones ultra sonicly cleaned, not that on car stuff.

I can help a bit: Unlike later injectors, the RRC injection system 4CU - ie flapper - has 'tailed' injectors. Google that Bosch part number from Mr P, or try v12 Jag, Rover SD1 etc from the same years (late 80's). If it's just the rubber tails that have perished you can R & R the rubber portion without too much fuss.

beware of what people tell you

What was the basis of this new injector diagnosis . Whats it doing ? overfuelling ? Highly unlikley you need a set of new injectors . Check your basics first . Ignition then fuel . Ive just lent a spare computer , airflow meter , injector resistor to a motor mechanical company to try after they just replaced a set of injectors in an 88 model and guess what , IT WASNT INJECTORS .
Injectors will really only become problematic one at a time and lots of mechanics will tell you you need your injectors done in these old rangies .
If you can borrow parts to test it could save you .

my mechanic said it was leaking fuel into the dizzy i think. not to run it on petrol cause it was leaking??? i mentioned the seals but he said the injectors were knackered. it doesnt run very well at all on petrol. ie wont idle, its fine on gas tho. afm is good, dizzy and rotor button are good.

Check your fuel pressure first and foremost then work a process of elimination to the engine.
Jumping to conclusions usually leads to a worn wallet particularly when your 'mechanic' says its the injectors without any proof.

how many psi should it be? are there any cheap ways to test or is it worth going to a different mechanic and getting them to test.

use the hose to the cold start injector on the plenum - and a fuel pressure gauge - you're looking for between 26-36 psi
