    Terrafirma Shocks and Springs

    Hi All,

Looking at replacing the springs and shocks on my 89 RRC
I have found some good deals on the Terrafima range they are heaps cheaper than some other brands, Question is are they cheap and nasty?

Once again that you all for your help.

From what I hear from mate in the uk

They are OME copies anyway. Due to OME going though three companies from here to the uk so there not cheap. And these are

All of their stuff is cheap copies of other stuff.

It is a company owned by All Makes and run by Ed Prescott who used to own frogs island 4x4 untill Allmakes payed a vat bill for him and took him over.

I have fitted a couple of the extreme long travel shocks on the rear of my vehicle. They seem to contain the rear better than the bilsteins. With the bilsteins I was proposing going to double shocks, but have not yet. And given that I have not really changed my driving style or terrain, I have been very happy. I got them locally.

i've got them on my 1990 classic, awesome off road highly recommend them, only thing though coupled with a two inch lift there's quite a bit of highway roll. you do get used to it though.

have a look at Shock Warehouse for Bilstein 7100 10" travel, short body remote resevoir. I used some in my 1990 RRC and they are great with 100/400damping for the rear. Approx $180 per shock
    Cheers
