So, would it be possible to run 24 spline HTE inner axles and early cv joints?

Or would I have to convert to 2522s? I want to run my 24 spline locker in the front of my 82 RRC.....

yep, Barry (HTE) makes a 24/23 spline axle to drop in your RRC so you can run 24 spline at diff end.

There are a few retailers in NSW, Graeme Cooper is one. If you arent anywhere near some one that does. Call Barry and he will point you in the right direction

saweeet! Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 2522 and the early cvs? I'm running 35s at present- have yet to blow a cv, axle or diff in the front but have done 3 rears (not since i put maxi in though). Just wondering if there would be any benefit to going 2522?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but the early RRC CV's are just as strong as the 2522, it's just that you have the replaceable stub shaft and I think it's 10 spline on the inner end ?

Pretty sure that acts as a fuse, so it's much quicker to change them out than the CV.

I blew the 2 2522 cv's, went back to early rover, blew 2 more and only ever twisted 2 10 spline stubs

I'd either use early rangie, or ideally ashcroft
