    Range Rover ad

    What a great clip Justin.
I had a 1983 Rangie and did over 700k with it and saw a great deal of Australia. I missed out on the large sunglasses, horses and snow of the clip but it brought back some great memories. I still miss the fold down rear door/table and the great padded fold around head rest. Such a capable vehicle.
I finally replaced it with a 2009 Puma which is my great adventure all over again.
    Thanks for a great post.

After watching that I REALLY miss my 1982 2 door..... the supple boat like ride, the thirsty and sometimes underpowered engine, the dropping of the door hinges and the dust pouring in through the tailgate....

But what a legendary and simply unsurpassed design, makes me want to go out and find another one, just love the 2 door models, in 1969/70 the best leap forward in 4x4 ever...world beating stuff

(Actually all that stuff I said about my '82 was just some of the things I loved about that car, it went on to be made into a rally car - and succesfully competed in the 1992 Australian Safari, the only RR in the event, drove it from Perth to Sydney, finished the event in Darwin (around 11th outright comparing to international placings), 2nd in Nat 4x4 class, then drove it home to Perth again)
