Megasquirt II Extra + Bosch Gen III injectors with extra o ring + EFI Hardware TPS replacement on a 4.6
Gets rid of: MAF and Distributor and 14CUX
Adds: complete control over fuel and ignition + wideband O2 sensor
BUT needs a fair bit of time to wire it all up - nothing difficult as you get the loom but you need to terminate all the wires - time consuming. Just got back from a 3 week trip to Fraser Island, all up about 5,000Ks average consumption was 14.2L/100Ks. The Megasquirt has been in the rangie for 40,000Ks now and zero problems. Also good to keep in mind the top O ring and clip is the critical components for retaining the 2.5 kg fuel pressure while the lower o ring deal with sealing the much lower pressure/vacuum intake area.
