Radio code
Hi,
I disconnected the battery recently on my 1993 Vogue SE and when I looked in the Service record book for the radio (spelt raido) code it is given as 264232. In my experience radio codes only have four numbers, not six. Is six common for RRs?
The radio was working fine before I disconnected the battery, no problems with the LCD screen. When I try to turn it on and enter the numbers nothing comes up on the screen asking for the code etc. The radio has no external indication of the make, no brand name. It could be the original. It has a tape insert in the radio, with a cd button for the remote stacker.
Any thoughts on the 6 digit number, and any tricks to get the radio back working would be appreciated.
Regards,
John

It is a four digit number to be input.
Ring eurovox and they should be able to help. I think they can use the 6 digit number or a serial numbe ron the back of the unit to give you the code.
