Should I or shouldn't I HELP!!!
Go the classic ........no disrespect to P38 Range Rover owners
As Davo and Dougal have stated the RRC are simple enough for most people to learn to turn a spanner on ........and won't break the bank keeping her running.
IF something does go wrong it's either spark, fuel or timing not computers, sensors, error codes, injection etc etc.
For me its all about keeping it simple ......I have a 81 RRC 2 Door and in 8 years of ownership with 800+ks on the clock, she really hasent cost me that much to her going, but the value of the joy she gives me is priceless.
Don't get me wrong I was tempted to purchase a P38 about 4 years ago it was going for 18k (too expensive) at a car stealers, But it was in absoulte concorse condition with low milage and log book servicing .....I have never seen a P38 in such a great condition and it was a Luxo ride no question and a credit to it previous owner.........
But when all said and done I do bauke at the electronics and the older they get the more prone to failure they become or least thats my opinion.
Good luck with your decision ......
Cheers
Baggy
