I actually had one of those windows loose, rattling around back there. The seal must have shrunk and a lot of rain was getting in. Luckily I got to it before the back end rusted out as you often see on old Rangies.
I just used silicone, rather than mucking about with new seals. I masked off the body and windows and put silicone down, then smoothed it out as well as possible, and then took off the tape. It's not pretty, but not too bad either. The plan, for about year 2039 at this rate, is to do the same but load up lots of silicone and then shape it with a tool with the right profile. With some luck it would look like a proper seal, and it certainly wouldn't shrink again!
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
