rear diff go bang :(
on the weekend my rear diff in my rangie went... well bang and munch.
Dropped the oil - didn't find metal shavings - but in the bottom of the housing I can feel something like a bolt or something - I'll have it out soon - but either way I will need a new diff.
Would rather it be all together so I can slot it in.
Why do I have a disco diff in a rangie? nfi - probly because I got a 4.6lt in it and the maxi drive axles so 24sp required.
Any help would be awesome - never had to deal with something like this.
Happend on pretty much flat ground, center diff lock in going slow.

Normal for rover diffs
Time for a locker
4.6 rovers do not make large amounts of power
24 spline Disco stuff is just as rubbish and 10 spline rangie stuff
