That's the sh!+ful club registration victoria used to have .... Absolutely useless as tits on a bull

The current "logbook" system where you can drive the car for 90days a year, for any reason (other than business usage) is brilliant. The old cars it's returned to the road is incredible. I've even seen really tidy old 120Y's on the roads with club plates. It's almost worth shifting down here just to access the club permit scheme
we "almost" have 4 cars on club permits now... My '85 Citroen CX2500 GTi Turbo, a Citroen 2cv, the '85 Range Rover Hi-line and I'll soon put my '63 Citroen ID19 on. My father also has a '52 Traction Avant he could put on. When your outlay is only $67 a year ( + ~ $70 a year full comprehensive agreed value insurance through shannons) .... it allows you to actually use your old toys rather than have them rot away in the backyard.
Just about any drive on the roads in Victoria these days will allow you to see something old and interesting wearing club plates .... Bloody brilliant!
