I reckon,
The transfer case is a lt 230, and I can't see why not the bell housing will work. I know it's a zf but that's as far as I know. It does make sense though. Same engine, may have issues with mountings etc.
Hey all,
I think I already know the answer to this, but thought I'd check with those more knowledgeable, can the auto and transfer from a V8 D2 bolt straight into a V8 classic??
If I've got it right, the limitations would be electrics (the D2 auto ECU), and possibly (although maybe not) a bellhousing or other mechanical mismatch.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

The D2 Auto as you know is electronic so does not have the kick down cable. The D2 transfer case does not have a speedo Out put. I think they all bolt up the same though.
If you are looking for a classic Auto PM me.
Cheers, David.
