    Question '90 POWER WINDOWS

    [/B]
Help please - a week ago my RR had four windows operating OK; two days ago my '90 RR had an operating LHF window; yesterday it had both the LHF and RHR windows; today, back to LHF - one out of four isn't good.
All four had new switches about two months back and all have operated fine since then.
Doesn't appear to be the fuse(s) so what am I looking for please ?
    Thanks in advance....

    Power windows

My electric windows on my 90 RRC had similar random problems. I cleaned all switches in both console and rear doors. Pull them out and clean with contact cleaner for electronic components. I also swapped the console switches around with their plugs till they all worked. Also cleaned the main window control unit with contact cleaner, mounted under the console cubby. All windows now work perfectly. Possibly worth trying.

The Disco I and 95 Classic use the same window ECU, AMR 1282, a double-plug thing.

IF yours is the same, then here's the fix for the REAR windows failing...

"Repair a Land Rover Discovery electric window ECU to make the rear windows open again"
