    RRC Modified Steering Arm

Assuming they are available, can anyone tell me where I can fairly quickly get one of the "shaped" steering arms for my 94 RRC please? I have to replace mine, so might as well go the whole hog. I'm happy to pay a reasonable premium for Oz purchase, otherwise overseas.
    Cheers Gavin

Not sure what you mean by "shaped" steering arms. If you are chasing heavy duty track rod and drag link, then a few places sell them. MR Automotive at Redcliffe sell the Maxi-Drive ones and APT Fabrications sell their own - both of these companies are SE Qld and I'm sure they'd courier them if required.

Pitman arm perhaps? Soft dash had the flat one like a disco, early ranges had the bent one with the ball joint.

Did you mean one of these ? - Or is there something even more esoteric floating around... Is your standard or 'modified' from or to something else ?

No, I meant the tie rod/drag link or whatever its called that is shaped to improve ground clearance - something like the offset one for Defenders, and which can be adapted for D1 etc. Because the RRC is not here, I haven't had a look to see if its the same design or has the same exposure as my D2

I would be pretty wary of that sort of track rod. Because it has bends in it the loads on it are vastly different to a standard one. It then has to be made from stronger material just to match the strength of a standard one.

... - Should be the same as mine, unless the PO has modded it. - Yours is merely a stretched version.

    What's wrong with yours?
