Central locking going crazy - what have I done?

Soooo......after repairing the passenger side door catch and reassembling, I'm unable to lock the doors from the passenger side. Fine from drivers side, using key, or snib button, or remote. All the mechanisms work on the passenger side, but using the key or the snib button causes the central locking to cycle continuously until I hold the end of the actuator 'in'.

I didn't have this problem two days ago, what have I done? And further, if I'm to try another actuator, how does it unplug? I couldn't get it to budge so I stopped before I broke anything properly...

And it gets worse. I opened the garage door where it's parked up, and the locks started cycling without me so much as touching the car. Help!

    NEXT time....

Your locks start recycling, be sure to watch the garage door doesn't fall on your bonnet!
When I cycle my locks with the remote, it turns the heater on in my TV room, and changes the TV channel if tv is set on Ch 4. That is one of 3 major Network channels, and very irritating.
