Have been a little concerned about the braking system on the 93 classic after a friend of mine was informed by Graeme Cooper that that his system required (p38) required a new accumulator.

My unit has 3 reasonable applications before the pump cuts in, was told that 3/5 is the standard, but last night I decided to check the bleed down time, vehicle stationary, accumulator charged and foot well clear of the pedal, elapsed time before recharge started 90 seconds, this would seem to put the pump in almost constant use.

Am I correct in thinking this is unacceptable, if so would the cause be the accumulator or a seal or two in the main unit, this is my first encounter with this type of unit, I have had a little experience with the system on my son's D2, must say I liked the layout and safety of the D2 over the classic.

Any advice gratefully accepted.
