So is there something wrong with my Left hand reading?

    Anything to worry about?
Their gear may be well out of calibration. Do your swivel balls look 9 degrees different?

In view of their recent performance, refusal to listen etc, I would not have a lot of confidence in their competance or 'calibration'.

On the other hand, your axle may well be twisted beyond recognition and about to fall apart.

Dougal is correct. The human eye is remarkably good at picking up 'differances' and 9 degrees is dead easy.

    Trust your instincts...

Edit:- - but does it drive any better or worse ?

    All good

Okay the car now drives much better. It tracks straight and the steering is improved.

As for the camber I've looked at the wheels and can't see a visible diffeerence between the right and left.

Swivel pin angle is not camber. If the car drives straight I wouldn't worry too much.

If it steers good I wouldn't worry about it.

Told you is an interesting experience. At least they looked at a database though.

I remember a journo who ownes a d3 had an alignment done. They didn't have a d3 on their system, so they used d2 specs and claimed, "they're both discoverys".
