Da BogMeistergot a hotdog exhaust already installed, makes a very nice grumble that would sound fantastic on my S3 [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img] thinking maybe extractors but will run it for a few weeks first to see how the original economy is... i'm currently used to 230k out of a 70l tank on my S3 so won't take too much to impress

Depends on how you want it too end up.
With the moter, start by replacing the leads with a nice thick copper core set, and some good NGK plugs.
Will make a nice differance, or it did to my 3.9.
After that you could go anyways you wanted.
Lift it, cut it, bore it, supercharge it, almost anything.

I've seen a couple of ads on the net suggesting TDi, 4BD1T, daihatsu 2.8lt.
I am thinking about buying a cheap rangy with a clapped out 3.5 v8.
