    Torque Converter

Given that the Torque Converters in 3.9 Discos are different to 3.5 RRC's, is there going to be room physically to bolt one up to the back of the Rangie motor?
    Cheers.

Not sure what you are trying to do............

Jason @ Autoflyte Trans in Thomastown is a legend with stuff like this. Built me a TC to mate a Chev flex plate up to a Ford C9 in a Ritters adaptor bellhousing and got it perfect. Maybe call him.

    cheers, DL

    G'day DL,
I'm on the hunt for a cheap way out of getting another Torque Converter, as I stuffed mine and the oil pump (auto) on my 89 Rangie, whilst doing an Engine swap.
I had found one out of a Disco, but it was waaaaay different to mine. They are much wider. So I was just curious to see if anyone had done such a thing.
Sounds like you had quite the conversion going on there!!
Thanks for the info, I'll give them a call and go from there.
    Cheers.
