    Second battery positioning

I am considering installing a duel battery system in my 84 RRC. The problem I have is that there is no room under the bonnet due to the gas system, and the gas tank is mounted behind the back seat so space is really at a premium. Anybody got any suggestions where to mount the second battery??

I've got the second opposite the first, but that space is obviously taken in yours. I have a third battery mounted where the spare used to sit. The spare is on a swing away carrier on the back now due to the larger tyres.

I've seen one, where the bloke had removed the washer bottle, mounted an aftermarket battery tray in there, and chucked a battery on it. Looked pretty bloody good actually.
The washer bottle was put under the scuttle panel with an opening in the heater intake grills to fill the washer bottle.
The whole job looked really cool.

Sounds like a plan! Love to see how it was done, but sure I can figure it out. Thanks!

Move whatever is in the second battery position. I had LPG and a second battery on mine.
