Yes.
I think it was 9 inches and the same wheelbase as the P38a - someone will confirm/correct.
I know of a RRC that is claimed to be a LSE rare LWB.
is there such a thing as a Long Wheel base RRC?
if so how much longer than normal???
Yes.

8" - I am led to believe
nominal 108" as opposed to nominal 100" - has anybody actually measured one ?
they are around, easily spotted by noticing the extra long second door
there's a few on gumtree atm including http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/baysw...lse/1045232375
marvellous back seat legroom -
AFAIK, all of the extra 8 inches is in the back seat area. Rumour has it that HM wanted a bit more room for One's Corgis, enough to stay on the floor and not on the seat. Rover obliged, with an eye on the Royal Warrant, no doubt and the rest is history.
Probably no merit in the tale, though more interesting than London Stock Exchange...or Long SE
Add another metre and a bit to the already "relaxing" turning circle...
Lets just mention that a 29 seat Mercedes bus I drive has a smaller one.![]()
And I thought, from the thread title, it was about the end of the RR - out LBW!![]()

It was also a perfect test bed for p38 chassis components.
I doubt it, I've just spent a day and a half under a LSE soft dash a friend of mine just bought off this forum and it's all stock Classic. The longer chassis was achieved by cutting a 100 inch chassis in half and sticking a patch section in. The rear passenger floor is just a longer ribbed panel inserted between the seat boxes. Terribly sophisticated, what?![]()
And all the electrical gizmo's as well dougal![]()
