    Just a thought Damien. Does your engineer come off a list of engineers endorsed by your motor vehicle registry? If not, should you consider changing - if on the list you would expect them to be across the regulations.

    My engine swap, 1989 4bd1t replacing 1984 v8 in RRC requires no engineering cert, and maybe falls outside the jurisdictional constraints of your conversion. Just need certificate from professional welder for the mounts. No certification required if total lift is less than 150mm.

    Maybe you should move to the NT - until you at least get the vehicle certified

    Looks like 1993 is the latest 4BD1T. But model year cutoff will be a fuzzy thing:

    I think so. But speaking with others that have spoken with engineers, the understanding is it can slip through with adr30.

    Build date just makes it easier (for the engineer)

    Yes, he is a vass engineer. You must have different rules up there, I would be happy to move

    So someone on here with a county with a build date of 7/88 would be enough?
