Not having much luck getting in contact with the owner of the wreck.

I will try get a sensor on order so I at least have somewhere to start.

Seems the connector I need is a 6 pin ISO connector. Anyone have any idea where to source something like this?
The 6 pins are in a line.

    Yep .... 3 options available
1: Plenty of RR's getting parted out on Gumtree in the Guildford / Swan view area
    2: Jaycar in midland
3: The ISO stereo plug that I'm about to toss in the bin

Another option is the Disco ... They run some ISO connectors for the Stereo

You looking for the Male of Female end?

    Cheers

Have plugged in the 93 cluster just to see how it lights up. Turns out that the pinouts must be completely different; as everything is mixed up. The headlight icon comes on instead of oil pressure. Oil pressure and auto choke (?) come on instead of indicators.

I didn't even have to start it up. Currently feeling like the project will be a waste of time; maybe I should look into sourcing a better cluster from the late 80s, or find some way to keep the dash bulbs in place.

Open to suggestions or alternatives with this; but at present it seems like the swap will be more trouble than it is worth

Some quality time with a multimeter will sort out the warning lights. I wouldn't give up at this stage. Do the gauges work?

A few years back I swapped over 2 nissan dash clusters with 39 wires and no wiring diagrams. That took me 20 hours total so only about half an hour per circuit. The major problem there was multiple wires the same colour.

Would it help if I took photos of the 93 dash cluster wiring colours?

Unfortunately I haven't done anything with the loom.
Something may have been done with the car by previous owners, but looking at it, no changes are evident.

I think you're right dougal, if I'm going to go through with it I'm going to have to get friendly with a multimeter.

Still no luck tracking down a plug though.
