    94 soft dash injected 304 conversion

    If anyones interested in one of these conversions I have almost completed this one .

    3.9 cracked block with slipped liner .

    I cheated somewhat .
    I bought an 85 with the conversion already fitted and did a full swap .
    The 85 had a zf auto with lt230 which I havnt used .
    I used the zf and borgwarner that was in the 94 .
    The exhaust on the 85 was a brilliant 3" mandrell bent system with big bore headers .
    Was a straight swap .
    Radiator on 85 was already converted to suit so thats a straight bolt in .
    Only difference and its taken a while to sort out is the speed signal sender from the 94 transfer is different to the 85 but I think I have it sorted now .

    Also couldnt have done this conversion if the air susp was to be retained on the 94 .
    Needed to put old style shock towers on because on the passenger side the alternator would have clashed with the shock tower which is further firward on the air susp .

    Nice!

    The purists might chime in and say you've upset the balance of the vehicle but they wouldn't have driven such a conversion.

    It was a hard decision to have to cut up those rear doors, but hey its only a car..
