    Just a thought...........

    Hi All,

Bought a 77 2 door a year ago with all the fruit, 4.4, R380, Maxi everything, long range tank, etc. 2" spring lift, 2" body lift and 35's.

Thinking of taking most of the lift out of it, selling the 35's and rims, putting un chopped guards on and taking the whole roof off so it's kinda like a convertible. Diffs are to be swapped into my 74.

Would probably need something like a bogan bar....... hoop just behind front seats linked to angled tube coming from rear corners (mostly to mount rear seatbelt belts).

Can anyone see something in this idea that couldn't be 'engineered' to get it legit for the road?

    TIA, DL

At least the front seatbelts aren't a problem.

Yep, but without all the window frames.

Pretty sure I can keep the quarter vents and door glass without all the framing rear of the vents.

This would just be a toy to drive on nice days.
