    ABS pump problems

    Hi all,

Trying to work out the best/cheapest way to fix a problem with my 91 RRC.

The pressure switch on the pump is badly broken. Can these be replaced separately to the pump?

    Broken pressure switch:

I have found a 2nd hand ABS pump, but the 'power unit connector' is different. Provided I identify which wire is which, would it be 'safe' to cut these power wires and replace the connector with something more generic to adapt the pump?

    Older pump power connector:

I cut off the mismatched plugs and soldered in the new pump.
    Works well.

Seem to have the ABS light on still, but will troubleshoot that when I get back from holiday.
