As far as I know, everything from the 4 doors onwards had the pillar mount belts and as such aren't suitable for the 2 doors. I could be wrong and am willing to be corrected by those with more knowledge.
I've heard about people welding in strengthening plates to the B pillar and pillar mounting the belts which would open up a whole world of seats to use, but if you're anything like me it's not the preferred option.
I've been on the lookout for some seats with integral belts to swap mine over as the seats in my '75 2 door and getting extremely tired and are pretty much held together with seat covers. All I've really found so far are either truck seats or BMW convertible seats.
The truck ones often don't tilt forward for rear access and the BMW ones are worth more than the car so I'm still looking.
Hope this helps
Cheers,
Steve
