Its like your sitting there ready to pounce on someone
When someone asks if anyone has certain parts they want to sell (wanted advert) and you said "I have xxx and xxx. PM me if interested." That's offering for sale.

I don't sit here waiting to pounce but I do read posts that look like, from their title, they will be asking people to sell them stuff.

For starters, you had deleted Mister_white_keys "wanted add" before id even seen it, but read his post & problem.

This is where this place is falling down,
Ive had this stuff sitting for about 10 yrs, because im unsure of what to do with it, read someones post who's in a bit of a pickle & responded,

Sure I stated what i had & to pm me if interested, that is not a for sale advertisement, like it or not

I thought the whole idea of a Land Rover forum was to help each other out, we pay to use this site (which I don't Have a problem with)

    P76 spacer and flywheel

I've attached a pic of the spigot bush spacer that's on my p76 as well as the flywheel with the holes drilled out if that helps you at all.

p38arover, get a grip Talking down to people and barking at them for doing the wrong thing isn't going to keep people visiting the forum, as roverV8 said we do pay to access this forum don't we

Thanks for the pics Dungarover, it's good to see some piccies of what needs to be done. I've had a look at my flywheel and it looks like it's already been adapted. I'm picking up more bits tomorrow which will hopefully give me everything I need to get the 4.4L into the old girl.

    Cheers,

If your flywheel has already been drilled, you probably have the modified spigot bush installed! Why don't you measure the input shaft on the gearbox and the spigot bush size and compare

I'm surprised that flywheel is strong enough with all those holes drilled so close together!

Me too but it seems to work. The flywheel is pretty thick so it'll handle a fair bit of punishment
