    6 speed into a RRC

    Just thinking. Has anyone heard of fitting a later 6 speed gearbox into a RRC. Would it be possible???

    Why ? - Its a package that is not worth upgrading.. when compared to a well-sorted P38, IMHO



    Would that be Over-capitalisation ???

    Sure if you have deep pockets anything is possible , half the work is done because they are already adapted to an lt230 .
    You just need to sort out a suitable bellhousing and clutch setup.

    Isn't 'overcapitalisation' on an RRC changing the oil...

    As mentioned, I'm sure it's possible if you have the will and the dollars.

    Not if its only done every 5 years. However fitting a working vacuum advance is.

    ... so is putting enough petrol in it to get home...


    - even if it's into the BRAND NEW petrol tank that LRA has fitted to your 20-year old car...

    If they can do it to an RRC,, then D1 and 2's should be possible...
