Oh, I'm very slow ... It's VIN number:

So if my VIN is for example: SALLHAMM7KA625xxx

suitable for all Range Rover Classic models from GA417085 upto LA647644 exempt Air suspension models

The last few digits of my VIN:

    KA625xxx

I'm "K" .. so the second last build year these will fit.

anyway, if someones searches up this thread. The postage through that mod was going to be $130aud

Land Rover Discovery 1 Complete Suspension Bush KIT SBU05 | eBay

however this one appears identical (even though sold as a discovery 1 bush kit). $130aud. for the full bush set including delivery.

lets hope it's not garbage after the effort involved in fitting it. now to chase up an 'A' frame balljoint. I reckon I'll just head upto roverparts in ballarat for that one.

I paid $150 delivered for OEM bushes from MR automotive in Redcliffe. So seems about right price. A frame ball joints seem to vary in price

Really, OEM for the full set ? I'd certainly have bought them locally if I realised I could get them for that price. I looked at rover parts, and the genuine were quite expensive. I dont' expect these to last "forever" ... but when you pay probably 15% of the genuine price, you don't really expect the best quality

A frame ball joints look really easy to change, so even if the cheapies rover parts sell are no good. It looks easy enough to change it to an OEM joint down the track (oneday I'll have some $$$ to spend on cars ).

There seems to be a lot of places that sell poly-bushes. These don't interest me in the slightest. They never seem "quite right" when I've used them in the past (not in land rovers). NVH seems to dramatically increase for starters.

Agree on the poly bushes I only use them on Panhard rod. Re bushes I got MR reckon they were only ones they fit that last, they supplied all except rear radius arm to axle bushes, which I already had. And was likewise surprised at reasonable cost. Mind you their quote for LT95 parts was anything but reasonable! Anyway they get fitted this week with Dobsons C51 series springs and some Bilsteins from Famous Four.

It would pay you to ring LRA and talk to Andrew about the one they sell.

The Maxidrive one (there are 2 versions) is what you want.

there is one for standard height to 2" lift and another for 2"+ lifts They are adjustable and the ball has a grease nipple.
