Fremantle - anyone local with a skylight manual opening tool?

    Howdy folks.
My special tool for manually turning the electric motor to open the roof/skylight has disappeared somewhere into the ether.
Anyone reasonably local have one I can borrow or buy?
I can't get the sliding sun panel out of its frame to get the entire headlining replaced (no roof electric wiring at the moment) - unless someone can tell me where/which wires to connect which way to a 12V battery to open the skylight without blowing/burning the motor?
    Cheers Gavin

    G'day Gavin,

I just using mine atm to make a replacement frame for the glass panel. By the look of it just a large flat blade screwdriver should do it. I'll check tonight when I get home. If not I'll measure it up if you want to make one.

    Hi Gav,

Well you can use a large flat blade screwdriver in a pinch but it doesn't feel the best and I think it might damage the plastic keyhole. The proper tool feels so much better.

    Here are the dimensions:

. . . I know the feeling... not only vanished, but I've forgotten where mine vanished to....or from.

Many thanks, but guess what. I was scratching around in the garage yesterday and "found" a small box of RRC parts I had put aside as being needed when I finally get to rebuilding - including the key.
Now, I knew some bits and pieces had gone "missing", but I also know I didn't put them where I found them, and I'm the only male living here, with only one female. Conclusion!!!
Anyway, tonight finally got the sunshade out and off to the headlining trimmers in the morning. Whoopee!
