Does anyone know how to disassemble/repair the wiper switch stalk so I can replace the wiring in the stalk?

My little 2yo girl loves to 'drive daddy's truck' and is a bit violent with the controls. She managed to pull the wiper stalk out of the splined clamp and managed to rip the wire in the wiper stalk clean off! I'm assuming it's the washer jet button that's been disconnected...
