    Exhust will usually make a sushing noise with wide open throttle when driving you may also get exhaust fumes into the cabin or you can feal the pressure out the exhaust with your hand & wide open throttle there will not be a big difference between the two . The other way is to split the exhaust infront of the mufflers & go for a drive & see if the problem goese away with out mufflers . Problem doing it this way the neighbours may not approve of this method.
    A nother problem a mate if mine had with his classic RR recently was one of the carbys started flooding so bad fuel was being pumped into the charcoal canister causing the car to run extremily rich when hot which caused similar problems. He replaced the neadle valves & seats problem solved.

    Ok thanks will see what tge neighbors say haha. Its fuel injection 14cux so no carburetors. However no im thinking something could be wrong with injectors or over fuelling.

    Make sure the fuel return line to the tank isn't blocked. Usually where the return line goes into the tank due to rust.

    Pretty easy to check, DL

    There was a thread about this prob in the last 12 months, with efi.

    Do a search and see how to check the return line, may not be your prob but if you have a steel tank it wil be one day if everything else holds up. (like the ignition barrel prob or ....etc, etc)

    had this problem with my old v8, it's distributor has a vacuum advance and a vacuum retard, the hoses were connected the wrong way around : )
