Have just found this in a USA document, and unsure if RRC or P38 if different - also have to assume standard tyre height
Standard ride height should be 790 mm from the ground to the top of the wheel arch.
I know I've filed it somewhere, but have just given up looking.
Can anyone tell me the standard heights wheel centre to underneath of mudguard for the EAS please - specifically MY95 LSE (manufactured July 1994), but should be the same height as other Classic EAS models?

Yes, Bessie will be the same height at Sarah, just takes longer to walk between F and R axles as you measure... Must be done on perfectly level ground...- nothing to do with accuracy, just makes it easier to use our Zimmer- Frames !!!
I too, used to have the centre-of-axle-to-wheel arch heights.... "somewhere"....
But, RAVE and other 'fficial documents all agree that Pirelli Scorpions OEM - 205R16 with 11mm tread is what we start with...and this will give us the first waypoint...- 190mm clearance rear diff housing to earth.
EDIT:- given as total diameter of 29.2" or 742 if you prefer... Tyre Size Calculator
Then, the ubiquitous "790mm floor to wheel arch" measurement, with + or - 7mm
Ideally, you've found a LR TESTBOOK, but the little *BBSolutions thingy can do the suspension height tuning. It displays 'bits' not mm, so you need to be running around with a nice big self-standing tape measure !
EDIT:- Any heathen who has cut wheel arches to clear JEEP or 'Cruiser/Nissan sized tractor wheels.... serves you right ! You don't care anyway !!!
Personally, I'd cheat....... in-flate or de-flate whatever tyres you have, till you get exactly 190mm Diff to ground. Specs are for REAR diff, but FRONT one should..... (?) be the same. either way, set the REAR, make various adjustments, then stand back and check it LOOKs "Level"
Once you've set 790mm as the STANDARD Height,
LOW or HIGHWAY is minus 20mm (770mm) ,
Old Flatulence ACCESS is 60mm lower.... (730mm)
HIGH - as commanded by Magyck Switch on Dashboard - is +40mm over STANDARD (830mm)
But when the ECU decides you really ARE in the Ruff Stuff, She will eventually give you, out of the goodness of her heart.... another 20 to 30mm over what you managed to get with the above Switch. This bonus quickly expires when you get off the rocks and onto civilized ground & speed up a bit....
- Women are like that, like to drop you down a notch when you're having too much fun.
Oh, and don't forget, Tyre pressures are around 28 & 35 psi, F to R..... NOT the same figure all - round. - For the BW transfer case, and I suspect the same for the LT230. - Vague memory is whispering this is on a plate, under bonnet at the front grille area ???
Hope that helps.... or confuses.... and keeps you occupied and/or frustrated...
in extremis, RAVE is a (sort-of) friend.
*My BBS 'thingy' went with Sarah, should still be with her, unless she's pawned it to support her... drinking habit !!!![]()
