    RRC EAS Tube sizing

    Covered before, but just checking. I know the normal tube size is 6mm.

    I have some clear Nylex Nylon tubing here that is coded as T1/4NF1000NT. Rating is 1000 psi and I am assuming the 1/4 is for a quarter inch, which equates to about 6.35mm if my theory/assumption is correct, and therefore probably not suitable for the RRC EAS system?

    Just checked a recovery kit I acquired for the airbags, and the black tubing has 1/4 on it - so?

    I will try to remember to check Sarah tomorrow, I don't see why 1/4 will be a problem though, maybe just a bit more tighter to push into the collets? Although with the ends chamfered properly and a tongue held in the right position according to wind direction, it should be a extremely effective fit.
