    New (to me) vogue SE & Seat/mirror ECU

    Hi all

    Been lurking here for a while, having had a p38 in the past I managed to get my hands on a classic. It's a 94 Vogue SE, Ardennes green, tan interior in generally great condition, I'm pretty stoked with it.

    First thing is to get it through a roadworthy, only thing I know it will definitely need is the adjustment reinstated on the drivers seat / mirrors.

    The ECU is toast but I have gotten the seat running using the passenger loom. However mirrors, slightly trickier.

    Long shot but I don't suppose anyone has a working seat ECU I borrow for a day?

    if you can't find an ecu. I made a black plastic cover plate to cover the mirror switch but inside the frame, so the insert looks blank. Mirrors are adjustable by hand - as long as they are there and function (ie: you can see behind you) it should be OK. Got a roadworthy last year just fine with that (other than a slightly frayed seat belt, slightly torn door seal and one crack in the indicator lens). There a plenty of other more recent vehicles out there with manual mirrors (like my 05 ute).

    Or if they get funny, fit a D2 mirror controller and you'll have adjustable, but not memory mirrors. My 95 has been done this way, but I have no idea on the electrics except that the D2 controller has an extra wire that is needed to make it all work.

    Wow, I sure hope WA doesn't change it's rego regulations any time soon haha. I've got enough 'wrong' on my RRC that it probably wouldn't get registered in any other state without a long list of minor issues which have no effect on the safety or operation of the vehicle whatsoever.
