You could upgrade it to an LS series motor for less than $15k ??

Very optimistic output number unless it has a very sharp cam which won't suit any 4wd. As reference, my John Eales build 4.5 om SU's made 220bhp on the dynamo. Nevertheless, sounds like a great engine and better option than an LS IMO. m

Just be aware that Graeme Cooper stopped offering 4.2 strokers based on 3.5 blocks many years ago , because he had many warranty problems with slipping sleeves.
It appears the extra stress on the block caused the sleeves to shift which was almost unknown in a 3.5.
He told me this personally.

The guy offering wants of course less than a 1/3 of what he spent and is a real enthusiast considers it "his" engine so wants to do all he can to ensure it fits perfect to my pushbike he has a lovely collection of RRC
