So another day in Narrabri. There isn't much choice in pumps readily available there's one coming from Tamworth arriving early tomorrow that🤞will do. its right on limit of fuel pressure rated at 1.5 -4psi and I need 4psi. Anything else is out of Sydney earliest Monday- maybe. So spending day watching cricket and quietly cursing ( and smelling of fuel).
Do you have a 2nd battery fitted? I'd soon cobble together 24volts to be mobile. any 12volt battery will do (even a little mower battery or something). Charge them in parallel, wire the pump across them in series. Given how hopeless I am at getting around to stuff, it would be fine for a year or 5 until I get back to it

They are supposed to whine. You don't need to take your wife that way

You fitted an LT230 to that? The LT230Q I reckon is fantastic, its so quiet ( don't worry, I'll call it every name under the sun if it expires though )

I've got a ZF 22hp4 and LT 230 sitting in Brissy. Now its a question of time and whether I want to fit them. Other priorities first as we haven't been home for 3 years house will take first priority.

Isn't it all just bolt in .... Does the wiring loom and ECU unplug and move over for the td5 ? if its a 4HP24, you'll need the slugomatic ECU as well. An R380 would probably be a much better conversion

Off topic, but I already have a real 24 transmission fitted (my bad in the explanation), its just the LT230 to source and "bolt in" to replace the viscous coupling.
It may be a little bit more complicated with drive shafts modded lengthwise (and an additional carrier bearing on the rear one) to suit the TD5?
All electronics are D2 apart from EAS and some P38 bits for the brakes.

Mine will be different from that in that its an auto/transfer case complete and being a 22 sans Electronics which is perfect for my car. My issue will be shifter/ driveshafts (10spline diffs) and gearbox crossmember.
Transmission tunnel is LT95 and I will not be butchering it. Andrew at LRA has just done one and sent some photos they used a ****er that looks like an LT95 gearlever on custom box mounted on top of tranny tunnel. It looks original
